Digital Raster Graphic (DRG)

USGS | Help | Links

A Digital Raster Graphic (DRG) is a georeferenced raster image of a scanned USGS topographic map.

A DRG is useful as a source or background layer in a GIS, as a means to perform quality assurance on other digital products, and as a source for the collection and revision of other data.

DRGs are available in three scales: 1:250,000, 1:100,000, and 1:24,000.
