These data depict geographic features on the surface of the earth. They were created primarily as a visual aid for urban and county planning.

The documentation and the tile index shapefile indicate that there are 1102 images in this collection. However, there are ony 1101 images available for download (March 2021) from USGS EarthExplorer. This image is missing from the collection: 11TNJ430240.tif

Standards-based geospatial metadata did not accompany the source files for the collection. A standards-based metadata file for ground control points is included with the collection. Information from a QA/QC report follows. Note that the exact date of the flight appears to be in question.

General Observations: Overall image characteristics such as brightness, contrast and visible appear to be good. I found 1 void area some shadows around tall buildings and in steep terrain also found a few offset wires. I included a few examples and that shape file.

This collection contains 1101 2013 15-centimeter natural color orthorectified images for areas in and around Boise, Caldwell, Eagle, Meridian, and Kuna, Idaho....
Aerial Imagery of Boise, Idaho and Surrounding Cities (2013,15-centimeter)
air photo", "aerial photography", "aerial photo", "orthoimagery", "ortho imagery", "orthophotography", "imagery", "orthorectified imagery", "natural infrared"
Image Service
Data", "Service", "Image Service", "ArcGIS Server
